Recent Hyatt Place Gwinnett Mall Review: "Needed a one night stay near downtown Atlanta for 2 kids, wife, and myself. This was the cheapest by about $20 and less than 20 minutes away from DT AT. Upon arrival I was surprised at how clean and new looking the hotel was. Very modern. The woman checking me in said it was redone about 2 years ago. Check in went quickly. The room FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. 47" widescreen mounted on the wall with multiple A/V inputs setup next to it including HDMI, VGA, and component. Bed was very comfortable and the room had a small partition between the bed and queen size sofa bed with the HDTV mounted so both sides could see the TV clearly. Pleanty of closet space and a mini fridge and wet bar as well. Bathroom was a little tight but how much time do you really spend in therer Pool was nice but the "exercise room" left a lot to be desired. Three treadmills (although new looking) are not an exercise room. Best partr The Fry's less than half a mile away. :o) Yes, I'm a geek at heart and we don't have Fry's in FL. I will definitely look this hotel up again if/when returning to this area."
